I’m Tonya. I’ve been designing homes my entire adult life.
I’ve been in the construction industry all my life and have designed professionally for over 20 years. It is my world and my love.
I created this business to combat the world of contractors who cut corners, ghost calls, surprise their clients with undisclosed charges, and leave projects half-finished for months. I’m here to make your project a positive, happy experience from start to finish.
I offer customers a unique perspective: 20+ years of construction experience, married to interior-design instinct. My experience raising six children has given me a deep understanding of the flow and function of a home, the choreography of school mornings, the choreography of holidays, the precious moments stolen away in silence.

Why White Maple?
The name comes from a maple tree behind the house Tonya grew up in, broad, sheltering, the place every neighborhood kid ended up by sundown. A home, in other words. White, for the bright optimistic finish we tend to bring back to every space we touch.
We’re a small studio on purpose. Small enough that Tonya leads every design herself. Small enough that our project manager actually knows your dog’s name. Small enough that, if a question comes up at 6pm on a Tuesday, the answer is one phone call away, not three departments and a ticket number.
Most of our clients come from referrals. Most of our referrals come from finished projects. We’d like that to keep being the case for the next 20 years.
